Using Free Model

By using Free Model you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What the service does

Free Model relays chat and API requests to the AI providers you connect (OpenRouter, Groq or Cerebras) using your own keys. We don't run the models, and we don't control their availability, limits, output or pricing. A model being listed doesn't mean it is free or working at any given moment. We may change, suspend or discontinue parts of the service.

Your provider accounts

• You need your own account and API key with each provider you connect. Free Model never grants provider accounts or keys.
• Your use of each provider is also governed by that provider's terms, policies and limits.
• Costs: OpenRouter models marked :free are zero-priced by OpenRouter, within its limits. Groq and Cerebras use your account's allowance; depending on your plan, usage can be billed to you by that provider. Free tiers and limits can change. You're responsible for any charges from your provider accounts.
• Free Model doesn't currently sell plans or subscriptions.

Your Free Model account and keys

• Keep your password and your Free Model API keys secret. You're responsible for activity under your account and keys.
• A Free Model API key is shown once. If one leaks, revoke it and create a new one.
• Disconnect a provider, or revoke the key at the provider, when you no longer want it used.

Acceptable use

Don't use Free Model to:

• break the law, or the terms or policies of a connected provider;
• infringe others' rights or generate harmful, abusive or illegal content;
• get around rate limits, share accounts or keys, or resell access;
• access other people's data or keys, probe or disrupt the service, or send automated traffic beyond normal API use.

We may limit, suspend or close accounts that do.

Content

You're responsible for what you send and how you use the replies. Model output can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate, so check it before you rely on it. We don't claim ownership of your prompts or the replies.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't guarantee uptime, model availability, accuracy or that the service will be free of errors or interruptions.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Free Model isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, for charges from your provider accounts, or for the actions or output of third-party providers.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
